BWAM’s members are aligned around a common goal to support the retention and advancement of Black women working in the asset management field. Our mission is to champion the positive impact of the talented Black women in asset management and provide the tools that will enable them to thrive.
BWAM hosts events on career management, leadership skills and provides opportunities for members to network, connect and cultivate new relationships. We also run the BWAM Leadership Accelerator which is a 6-month leadership development course to accelerate the careers of mid-senior level Black women. BWAM is financially supported by investment firms and professional service firms, whom we partner with to enhance strategic initiatives to recruit, retain and advance Black women.
